New event in Skipton

I'm delighted to announce a togetherfriends event in Skipton, and it's no coincidence that I'm staying here in between house moves! I'm really enjoying my stay in Skipton, with it's interesting shops, places for coffee and wonderful countryside to explore.

On Friday 20th November we'll be running a double event - a walk with our Wharfedale walking club followed by a coffee morning in Filmore and Union cafe. You are welcome to come to one or the other or both! The walk will be a gentle stroll from the Castle and fans of FIlmore and Union will know that they do a good range of cakes that almost seem healthy!

It will be great to welcome togetherfriends members from the Skipton area, including those from farther afield in the Dales such as Grassington, Kettlewell, Buckden or closer Embsay, Silsden, Gargrave and Addingham.

Our coffee mornings have proved to be very popular in Ilkley and Northallerton, offering a relaxed way to meet other local women. We hope it will become a regular event and lead to other events in the Skipton area.
