Festival time - time to plan!

joy-and-sonya-3When the weather is cold and wet, I like to look forward to spring and summer by planning a few special events with family and friends.

One of the things that I love to do with friends is to attend a festival, whether it's a litfest,  musicfest, foodfest or walking fest.

Festivals are so much fun with friends:  You can listen to interesting speakers, musicians, and eat tasty food.  You can spend time with other people who enjoy the same things as you and you can enjoy each others' company away from the pressures of everyday life.  A weekend away at a festival with leave you all with special memories that will remain with you forever.  And it's good to have a focus for a weekend, making it easier to plan.

This year I have two special events lined up - a weekend at Hay Festival with my old school friend, and another weekend at the Green Man music festival in South Wales, this time with local friends.  They'll be in a campervan, we'll be in a tent, so I know where I will head to if the weather gets wet!

Going to a festival is the perfect thing to do with friends.  It's fun and just something a bit different.   So why not give your friends a call and book yourselves on a festival weekend?

Here are a list of some of the festivals on offer in 2020:

And of course there are lots more festivals to choose from, on almost every subject and interest.  And of course, if you fancy a festival but haven't got anyone to go with, we might be able to help at togetherfriends!
