Skipton double event!

Last week togetherfriends held a double event in Skipton - a walk followed by coffee.

Despite an unfavourable forecast the rain held off long enough for eight of us to enjoy a gentle stroll. We followed a beautiful wooded canal side path up the side of Skipton castle and back into down over open fields. It was a great chance to mix and have a chat with everyone and get to know each other. It always seems easier to chat what walking along outdoors.

After all that exercise we enjoyed well-earned coffees and teas in Filmore and Union on the High Street, with some yummy scones, muffins and toast with homemade jam. All agreed it had been a good morning out and plans were hatched for a regular monthly Skipton coffee as well as a coffee event in nearby Silsden.
