Sheila Hancock talks about overcoming loneliness after the death of  husband actor John Thaw.  Loneliness and social isolation are such big issues and can hit anyone at any time, particularly after a change of circumstances such as a divorce, a bereavement, a move to a new town or retirement. Suddenly your social set up can change and affect your friendship group in a big way.  It is so easy to become isolated and alone when something major happens in your life, but it is also important to remain in contact with the wider community.  We are delighted  to be able to support women who are in this situation in a small way.
