It's been another difficult year as we continue to battle with the dreadful pandemic, but I am looking forward to 2022 with renewed optimism! January is the time to rethink your life, what are your priorities over the coming months? Maybe you would like to take up a new hobby, change job or or make some new friends?
Maybe you would like to set yourself a goal to walk a long distance path, run a marathon or join a parkrun?
I have just signed up to walk 1000 miles over the year, a plan set up by Country Walking magazine to get people walking and out in the fresh air. 1000 miles works out as 3 miles a day over 50 weeks. I did my first walk today, about 4 miles and loved it! I'm already busy planning my future walks, whether alone or with friends!
